What is the Bark Scholarship Fund?

The BARK Scholarship Fund was set up to help children attend school to get an appropriate education. Too many children drop out of school as they simply don’t have the money. The price of a large cup of coffee per month in the UK is the same cost to education a child in Zimbabwe, yet to many children go without. This has to change.

Education in Africa

Education in Africa is still the only way to a better life but in most cases children are dropping out of school because they can not afford to pay the fees. Often the financial struggles are borne from a number of issues, such as parents not working, the child has been orphaned, and a host of other things.

Our Scholarship Fund appeals to everyone who wants to help ensure more children get the education that will help their future.

How Can You Help?

The Scholarship Fund has a number of donation options, from one-off donations, to monthly and yearly contributions – you choose the amount as every little helps the children we are supporting.

  • A £12 one-off donation will ensure a child can go to school for one term.
  • A £36 one-off donation will ensure a child can go to school for a whole year. What an immeasurable difference this will make.
  • There is also an option to donate a one-off payment of £10 to pay for a child’s school bag that includes text books for the year.

Together we can help so many children with their education and their future.

We work hard with the local communities to identify the educational needs, and direct the funds we raise accordingly. We thank all our donors for all the support they continually provide.

On behalf of the children, teachers and parents, we are very grateful for those who have impacted lives positively through paying school fees for our scholarship beneficiaries.
